How Much I Earned In Month Three From Matched Betting Offers

Now that I’ve got another month of working my way through matched betting offers under my belt, it’s time for another review of how things measured up. and how much profit I pocketed.

Quick spoiler… I’m still loving matched betting. It’s a risk-free, tax-free way to leverage free bets from online bookies, it’s hugely flexible, and it’s also simple and straightforward once you get your head around the basics.

If you’re not too familiar with how it all works – or you’ve got burning questions like how to get started or how it can be done even if you have existing accounts with bookies – then be sure to check out my answers to FAQs about making money with matched betting.

Before we get into the nitty gritty of exactly how much I earned, now’s a pretty good time to explain why exactly I share the details of my profits. Maybe you find it useful and you like that kind of transparency. Or maybe you think it’s a bit odd.

Either way, here’s why I do it:

  1. I’ve mentioned previously that one of my favourite things about matched betting is that it’s so flexible and there’s no pressure. If you’re not taking action, no one’s going to chase you up on it, and you only have yourself to answer to. That’s a good thing, but it can be bad for motivation. You have one day when you’re just not feeling it… That turns into a week. Then a month. You get the picture. Writing these posts keep me accountable to you and serves as an extra kick up the arse. We all need one of those now and again.
  2. Reading income reports from other matched bettors is exactly what inspired me to give it a go in the first place. When you can see how much other people are earning – and exactly how they’re doing it – it makes you consider what’s possible and how you can increase your own earnings in a similar kind of way.
  3. Most importantly, the main values that I’m determined to live by as a money blogger are honesty and integrity. That means sharing the ups and the downs, the good months and the bad, and for me personally, it means being reasonably transparent about how my various different ventures perform. I care about telling the truth, and by doing that, helping you to make decisions about what’s best for you.

So with that it mind, let’s cut to the chase…

In my third month of matched betting, I made £327.

As I made £401.76 in month one, and then followed that up with £392.81 in month two, that brings my total earnings to £1,121.57.

EXACTLY HOW I MADE MONEY FROM MATCHED BETTING OFFERS IN MONTH THREE…

Month three worked out a little differently to previous months in terms of how I spent my time with matched betting offers, for a few reasons.

First of all, it was Cheltenham Festival. It’s an event that’s the highlight of the horse racing calendar, and as predicted, the bookies went into overdrive throwing incentives around left, right, and centre.

So over the course of those four days, I was a little more active than I would be in a typical week. I checked Profit Accumulator each morning to help me to decide what to focus on, and for the most part, I placed my bets and forgot about them until later in the day.

At tea time, I reviewed everything and placed any free bets that I’d been credited. This was alongside continuing to work through the sign-up and reload offers. There were a lot of Cheltenham offers that I skipped purely because I didn’t have the time available, but I was still pleased with the amount that I managed to tick off the list.

The next couple of weeks though were definitely much less productive for me in terms of matched betting. I had a couple of short holidays and trips away planned for my birthday, so it had to take the back seat for a little while. During month three, I’d estimate that 90% of my profits were created during just one week. Which just goes to show how much progress you can make in a short time if you’re willing to knuckle down.

HOW I’M MANAGING MY MATCHED BETTING MONEY POT

I’m often asked how much money you need to start matched betting, and how long you have to wait until you can withdraw your profits. A minimum of £60 is a great amount to get the ball rolling, and you can withdraw your money as soon as your bets have settled. You’ll typically wait 3-5 days for the cash to land back in your bank account.

Still though, the more money you have in your matched betting pot, the faster you can make your way through the offers. It simply means that you don’t have to wait around for things to clear before you move on to the next task.

This is why I haven’t withdrawn any money from my pot at this stage. I’m treating it almost like a little savings account, though this may change later in the year. We’ll see what happens.

If you need to withdraw your money though, it’s not the end of the world. You might decide that you want to withdraw half of your earnings from matched betting offers each month, so you can use some of your cash whilst also growing your pot. It’s just about working out what’s best for you.

IS PROFIT ACCUMULATOR WORTH THE INVESTMENT?

Absolutely! Profit Accumulator makes matched betting simple and straightforward, and following their tutorials and guides means that you’re never left wondering what you need to do. During Cheltenham Festival, it was an invaluable resource. It made sure that I knew exactly what was available in terms of betting offers, and I had the step-by-step instructions right there in front of me.

I also love the forum. It’s super active, and there’s always a member of staff kicking around to get you unstuck if you’ve got any questions. Everyone there is focused on increasing their earnings from matched betting offers, and you learn a ton about the various different strategies and how to make the most of them.

You can sign up for a free trial and see what you think. That’ll give you access to two offers, with associated instructions. If you decide that you want to continue, then you can pay £17.99 per month, or £150 for a full year of membership.

So month three saw me earning slightly less than my previous two months, but given the amount of time I had available, I’m still pleased with my results, and excited to see what happens next.

If you’re a matched bettor, how did you get on during Cheltenham Festival? And are you happy with how your earnings are shaping up?

I was a dedicated matched better until I started to take my blog more seriously and decided to dedicate my spare time to blogging. I knew I wouldn’t be matched betting for 3 months as I had a blogging plan mapped out. But it’s now over 7 months, so it’s very true what you say about a day turning into a week and then a month etc! I really must get back into doing it, as it’s such easy money compared with some of the other money making tasks. Thanks for the reminder and the inspiration (I do LOVE an income report to get me motivated!!).

Hey Mel, it’s difficult sometimes to juggle everything, isn’t it?! You’re so right though, it’s such an easy win once you’re into a good routine! x
