I’m a few months into the journey of sharing my matched betting income report here on the blog, and it’s safe to say that it’s quickly claiming a top spot when it comes to my favourite ways of making money online.
It’s simple and straightforward, when you use Profit Accumulator. It’s risk-free. It’s tax-free. And it’s also completely flexible. If you’re running a freelance writing business, for example – something that I’ve done for the past seven years – there’s emails to reply to, there’s clients to check in with, and there’s deadlines to meet. That’s just the nature of the beast. With matched betting though, there’s no such pressure. It’s entirely up to you how much you want to do.
In my month one matched betting income report, I earned £401.76 in tax-free profits.
In month two, I earned… £392.81!
Best of all, in month two, I spent much less time on matched betting than I did in my first month – without a considerable drop in my earnings.
I was more familiar with the strategies, I didn’t have to double check every tiny little thing, and I spent more of my time getting stuck into the offers, rather than getting my basic knowledge up to speed. Looking back, my first month was all about finding my feet and learning the ropes.
So if you’ve been thinking about getting started with matched betting, but it all seems just too bloody complicated? I can absolutely promise you that it does get easier, and you’ll quickly be into the swing of things!
HANG ON A SECOND… WHAT’S MATCHED BETTING?!
Matched betting is all about legally leveraging free bets from online bookmakers to create guaranteed profits. To find out more about how it all works, check out my post where I answer 15 FAQS about matched betting.
Right there, I explain exactly what the process looks like, how much you can potentially earn each month, how you can get started, and everything else that you need to know.
WHERE DID THE MONEY FROM THIS MATCHED BETTING INCOME REPORT COME FROM?
In month two, I simply continued working my way through the list of sign-up offers over at Profit Accumulator. I also started to introduce a few reload offers into my weekly activities, and I had a couple of nice little cash injections from free spins on casino games.
I’ll be honest… The free spins on casino games are probably my favourite! They’re super straightforward, and ridiculously quick. So you log in to Profit Accumulator, and you’ll often see on the list of available offers that a bookie is offering 20 free spins, just for example, on a virtual slot machine. You click the link, you accept the offer, and you do your spinning.
With these, you’re not guaranteed to win anything, but you’re also not risking your own money. Rather than being a key element of the process, I see them as a nice little bonus alongside my matched betting journey.
Most of these offers take less than a minute to complete, so I’ll often do them while I’m making a cup of tea or watching some TV. Initially, I was a bit sceptical of these. I thought surely, if the bookies are giving you free spins, you’re not going to win anything. I suspected they’d keep the cash pot set aside for the people ploughing their real, hard-earned cash into their games.
Apparently not, though. I’ve never hit any big jackpots, but I have had a steady little stream of wins at around the £5-£10 level. I’m assuming that this is essentially part of a ploy by the bookies to lure you in with a few successful spins, so that once you’ve completed the free ones, you’re optimistic enough to keep on gambling with your own money.
Needless to say that’s NOT matched betting, and if you think that you’d be tempted to sway from the strategies and start risking your own cash, then I’d strongly suggest that you give these kinds of offers a wide berth. Matched betting is risk-free, and it’s not gambling… But only when you closely follow the instructions and stick to what you’ve learned in the training videos from Profit Accumulator.
MY MATCHED BETTING STRATEGY FOR MONTH THREE
I’m eager to hit £1,000+ in total profits, and I’ll definitely smash that before I publish my next matched betting income report.
I’ve only got a small handful of sign-up offers left to do now, so I’ll be progressing on to focusing much more on reload offers. I’ve been checking these out daily on Profit Accumulator, and it’s clear that there’s still an absolute load of profit to still be made. If anything, I’ve only just lightly scratched the surface.
March is also set to be a particularly exciting month, as the upcoming Cheltenham Festival means that it’s one of the most profitable times of the year to be a matched bettor. I’ve even created a post about the strategies that I’ll be using to cash in on Cheltenham Festival 2018. All things considered, I’m really excited about continuing with this income stream, and hitting that first £1,000 in profits.
Have you started matched betting recently? How are you getting on so far? Feel free to pop any questions or comments in the box below!

Ruth. When I click on the profit accumulator link in here it doesnt automatically fill in the referral code. I dont want to proceed without you getting the aff revenue.
Hi Deniz, if you’ve clicked the link via my blog then it registers as an affiliate link automatically, so there’s no need to enter the code. Thank you!
I’ve just come across this post on Pinterest. I’ve been researching matched betting for a number of months, but most of the websites I came across on Google were overly-formal, and didn’t look like they were written by a normal, everyday person. It kind of put me off trying it, because surely this wasn’t something just anyone could do, right? After reading this blog post I’m definitely going to give it a go, though. I’m going to wait until I have some time off college to dedicate towards it to make the most of the profit accumulator free trial, though. I’ve saved your blog post over on Pinterest so that I can come back to it next month so you don’t miss out on the affiliate income. Just one question: do you include what it costed you to buy profit accumulator in these posts, as in, take it out of your profit, or not? Was just curious!

Hey Rebekah, thanks for your comment! I haven’t included the cost of Profit Accumulator in these posts. I paid for a year up front as it works out a little cheaper to do it that way, and it took me around a week to cover that cost. Let me know how it goes when you get started!
